European Profiles (UK) was established in 1971 and has its principal
manufacturing site and offices in South Wales, United Kingdom. Their
30 year history has earned them a reputation as a leading manufacturer
in roofing and cladding systems.
Towards the late 1980s, European Profiles (UK) entered into a working
arrangement with the Zelan Group, to further tap the growing power
generation market, which saw numerous successful projects in Indonesia,
Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
In 1993, European Profiles (UK) and the Zelan Group joint ventured
to form European Profiles (M) Sdn Bhd, or European Profiles, to
extend their commitment towards the existing and potential customers
in the region. European Profiles and its subsidiaries now provide
a one-stop agency service that fulfils customers’ needs, ranging
from design, engineering, manufacturing and fabrication, delivery,
site supervision and erection, without compromising on quality and
service.
European Profiles and its subsidiaries are housed in a 48,000 square
feet office cum factory premises situated on a 2-acre site in Rawang
Integrated Industrial Park, Selangor. The factory is divided into
2 bays; one housing three high-speed computers numerically controlled
roll formers and the other, two mobile roll-on-site machines. There
are also several supporting and auxiliary machinery and equipment,
leaving ample space for fabrication facilities specific to projects.
Production
and fabrication methodology are strictly in line with EUROPEAN PROFILES
(UK)'s established levels of quality assurances and standards, which
are part of the British Standards BS5750 Part 2 (ISO 9002 equivalent).
European Profiles was accredited the Malaysian SIRIM ISO 9002 in
July 1997. This has now been upgraded to the MS ISO 9001:2000.
With its linkages, European Profiles is able to tap
technical assistance from EUROPEAN PROFILES (UK) and other profiling
companies within the Corus Group in the United Kingdom, Netherlands,
Portugal, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Norway.

by in-house and the group's resources, the technical marketing team
identifies projects at their stage of infancy and works alongside
consultants, owners and contractors to provide solutions to proposed
building envelope systems, together with composite floor decking
(where required), from the design concept to its engineering support.
We have acquired new machinery mostly with the ROLL-ON-SITE technology
to complement existing facilities. European Profiles believes in
striking partnerships on projects to achieve satisfactory completions.
